Emma has launched her solo career by becoming one of the most successful Spice Girl ever. She had broke a number of records. These includes, she is the first Spice Girl to stay on the UK Top 40 singles chart for consecutively two weeks and has made the Spice Girls the most successful band where most of the band members have all scored a solo Number 1. But Emma did not enjoy these success when she first released her solo material What I Am, a collaboration with Tin Tin Out back in 1999. She only reached No.2 and was defeated by former bandmate, Geri Halliwell. Emma has meanwhile left Virgin Records and is currently being managed by Simon Fuller once again. She is currently recording her second album but no date has been set yet for the release.
