CAUGHT ON CAM Timberlake and Diaz share night of passion

WE hope you're sitting down Emma Bunton, because we've got some bad news.

Emma's on/off man Justin Timberlake has been photgraphed sharing a passionate snog with Cameron Diaz.

Emma, 27, has had us cringing with embarrassment at her efforts to try to snare girlie-voiced Justin over the past few months.

But she's finally lost the battle... to beautiful, rich, successful, statuesque Cameron. Shame.

And there's proof - the loved-up Americans were caught sucking each others' faces in Justin's Cadillac outside Cameron's Hollywood Hills home. The pictures were taken on Thursday morning after a night of passion following the Charlie's Angels 2 premiere.

And Justin clearly wasn't thinking about Emma. Or Britney, Kylie, Dannii, Janet Jackson, Alyssa Milano and the numerous dancers he has dated.

But despite his impressive track record with the ladies, we've got to admit that he's excelled himself by scoring with 30-year-old Cameron.

The lovebirds first set tongues wagging in April at the Los Angeles Nickelodeon Kids Awards and sources say it's been game on ever since.

They were spotted dancing together at AD club in LA. Four days later they went to the Deuce club and they've also been bowling at the Sports Centre Bowl in LA. Later that night Cameron picked up a takeaway sushi meal while Justin waited in a car outside.

Emma was one of thousands of fans who threw themselves at 22-year-old Justin when he came to the UK in January and she's admitted they had "been together" after a night's partying in London club Pangaea.

Then last month Emma decided to have another crack at Justin by making a beeline for him at the opening of Rex cinema and bar.

However, instead of being subtle, insiders revealed she was all over him like a rash and stooped to nipping into a private screening room where she spent 30 minutes with the heart-throb.

Ms Diaz is aware that Justin has most of the female population lusting after him but she isn't likely to talk about it.

She's fiercely guarded about her private life and always refused to talk about her four-year relationship with actor Jared Leto which finished a few months ago.

But will this one last or is Cameron just another notch on Justin's increasingly-crowded bedpost?

You can bet we'll be quizzing her for inside gossip on his prowess when she comes to London in two weeks for the UK premiere of Charlie's Angels 2.

We can't wait...

TOTP: Tell us about the new single Emma...
Emma: Well, it's called 'Free Me' and I'm really excited about it. It's all about being able to love someone the way you want to love them, and not having to play games any more. I worked with a great producer, Mike Peadon, from The Chimes. It's one of those songs that give you goose bumps, because the strings are live.

TOTP: It's certainly a very classy song Emma. The video is sexy and you've come back with a very sexy image too. Has Baby Spice grown up now?
Emma: I'd like to think so! I'm 27 now and I've experienced a lot. I've just spent some quality time out too. I went on a few holidays with my girlfriends and stuff like that. It's meant that I've been able to come back with a more grown-up album. Even though the video is a little bit sexy, it felt very natural for me to do. I'm really pleased with it.

TOTP: You've written some of your own material on this album too haven't you?
Emma: Oh yeah! I write all the lyrics and melodies, and I've become a lot more confident with knowing what I want from the studio. It feels like my album, because of all the input I've had. I've enjoyed every part of it. When I get up on stage now and sing a song from the album, it really comes from the heart. I think fans can pick up on that as well. It's my music now, so I feel even more passionate about it!

TOTP: So, have you dropped your surname now?
Emma: No, it's my name! It's just got my first name on the album, I know, but I'm not dropping my surname.

TOTP: The papers are constantly speculating about you and your love life. You've recently been seen in a photo with Justin Timberlake too. Any truth in these rumours?
Emma: There's always rumours! At the moment I'm single and really enjoying it. I have great girlfriends and I'm enjoying just spending quality time with them and having a good laugh. I'm at the age when I want to concentrate on my career and music. I'm just having a ball right now.

TOTP: Are you a fan of Justin?
Emma: I am, yes! [Grinning from ear to ear!] His music is great!

TOTP: Do all these rumours bug you though?
Emma: Well, the press is a part of the job really. I've come to realise that if I go out for a meal or to a bar, I have to expect to get papped! If I want to avoid it, then I'll stay at home and chill out with friends.

TOTP: When you were with the Spice Girls, there was five of you in the eye of any media storm. Is it harder for you now you're a solo artist?
Emma: Obviously, the press will focus even more on the smaller things, like how I'm looking or what I'm wearing. I feel like I've achieved so much. I'm really happy where I am at the moment.

TOTP: You're always going to be linked with the Spice Girls, but what have you enjoyed the most?
Emma: I've loved both! Being in a band was really good fun, but as a solo artist I'm able to challenge myself more and put more of me into the songs. I do feel very lucky that I was a part of such an amazing band and equally as happy with the fact that I've had the chance to go on from that and be a solo artist. It's not easy!

TOTP: Do you still see the girls? Who are you closest to?
Emma: I do still see the girls. I see Mel C quite a lot, because she's my neighbour. I also see Mel B, because I'm a big fan of Phoenix and I love her to bits. I speak to Victoria on the phone, but I don't see Geri as much as I'd like to. Obviously, she's doing her own thing in America. We've all been through so much together, that we do all support one another. We know one another inside-out.

Emma recently took part in an interview for the BBC. In it she talks all about the internet and her life on the net. This is what she had to say:

Emma Bunton's got a new look, a new single "Free Me" and a new life - online.

How did you learn about the Internet?
I’m very new to the Internet actually, I only got my computer at Christmas, so I’ve been trying to learn when I’ve got the time. Also I get help from my friends.

Do you find it easy?
I have found it a bit daunting, but generally I just type in the thing I’m interested in and it generally comes up quite quickly which is good. I also prefer connecting with people or speaking to them on the phone instead of typing things into a computer. But I am getting into it like everyone else in the world.

What would you say are your main activities when you’re online?
I like getting pictures up. I email friends, which is really useful when friends go travelling, that’s been really handy. And then shopping, looking at papers and magazines and seeing whats going on.

What are your favourite shopping sites?
I really like shopping myself so I don’t really shop that much on the Internet, but I do like to use the internet to see what’s out there. I've visited Top Shop, Gucci and Selfridges recently.

What other sites have you visited recently?
www.asseenonscreen.com and www.figleaves.com.

Do you visit any celeb or gossip sites?
Not really, unless I fancy one, and then I have a look to see if there are any nice pictures that I can download.

If you had a friend who was logging on for the first time, which site would you suggest they went to?
Definitely Friends Reunited. I quite like this site, because even though I’m not on there I like to see what everyone else is up to. When I went on there last time there were a couple of things about me, which was quite funny. All nice things which I was pleased about!

If you don’t use the Internet very often why not?
I don’t really have the time, I’m used to running around and doing lots of stuff. Generally I only have the time to use my computer before I crash out and go to bed.

Tell us about your new single?
It’s called "Free me", and it’s got a new classic kind of sound, it’s very Bondy, but it’s also got a really sixties feel as well. We’re releasing it on the 26th May.

The press have been going mad about your new look, do you find it complimentary or do you find it annoying?
It’s very complimentary, but I think people kind of forget, I met the girls when I was 18 and I’m now 27. Of course I’m going to grow and enjoy being a woman. I enjoy training now and getting my nails done. It’s just growing up really.

Have you ever taken part in a web chat before.
I have of course with the Spice Girls. I really enjoyed all the fans questions, but I found it quite funny because people get annoyed when you don’t answer straight away, and you have to say ‘hold on a minute I’ve got hundreds of questions to answer’.

Have you ever typed your name into a search engine to take a look at all the fan sites?
I did once with my mum, and there were loads which was amazing. People have made up some great sites.

Looking for love online… would you do it?
I‘d be very wary, I think it’s ok to chat to people but I wouldn’t take it any further.

Do you know anyone who has done it?
I don’t know anyone who’s done it, I think that at the moment all of my girlfriends are into going out!

If you could flirt with anyone in cyberspace, who would it be?
It would have to be Elvis Presley - when he was young and sexy and in his prime - and Justin Timberlake.

Emma Bunton has been voted Britiain's sexiest pop star by viewers of music channel VH-1. Its an incredible result for the former Baby Spice once known aa an innocent sweetie - and suggests all that fake tan is paying off.

The list of 100 names is an interesting barometer of who's hot and who's not in 2003. Only one of her spice pals (Geri Halliwell) in a lowly 70th even scraped into the top 100.

Emma 27 - who recently had a top 5 hit with Free Me - Said yesterday: "I'm glad to see curves are back." The blonde cutie was highest placed British Female but finished eighth on the world's fittest singers.

Emma Bunton took the plunge on Top Of The Pops in this very revealing little number. The former Spice Girl poured herself into a tiny white minidress which showed those sumptuous curves to great effect.

Emma's latest single, Free Me, went top 5 in the charts and she said: "The Next single is really cool too. You're gonna love it. You're gonna be up and dancing to it." Meanwhile Emma was looking forward to a girlie spree with her old Spice mate Mel C.

Baby said: "She texted me earlier and were gonna meet up this weekend and go shopping." The pair were also snapped together backstage of Top Of The Pops.

erm, The albums actually gonna be out probably october.
