WE'RE perplexed as to why Emma Bunton and her on/off man Jade Jones are so cloak and dagger about going out... considering he's now moved in with her. According to sources, the lovebirds - who split last summer after a four-year relationship - are back together. And moving things up a notch, former Damage singer Jade, 25, has moved straight back into Emma's swanky pad in Hampstead, North London.

"It's great news," reveals one pal. "Now they're going great guns again. They just didn't see the point of living apart. "Emma and Jade are really mad about each other and are so happy that things are back on track. "They've had their ups and downs but they're in the honeymoon stages again so we're hoping it'll be for keeps." But for some bizarre reason the pair went to great lengths over the weekend to avoid being photographed together out in London on both Friday and Saturday night. Emma, 27, and her toyboy started dating in 1999 and now it seems the the blonde singer is following the lead of her former Spice Girls bandmates Mel C, who's dating Thomas Starr, and Victoria Beckham by settling down with Jade.

But when we collared the former Baby Spice at yesterday's Popworld event at Wembley Stadium she was being very secretive about her rekindled romance. "Jade and I have known each other for such a long time," she told us with a wry smile. We've got the same friends and we go to the same places but the other night when we were spotted we actually hadn't intended to be together." Yeah right. "Right now I'm really busy with work," she added. "I've been filming the video for my new single I'll Be There and I'm doing a Parkinson interview on Christmas Day." Emma will perform her new track alongside Victoria - who is singing her new double A-side single This Groove and Let Your Head Go - on the BBC1 show. It will be their first public appearance together in two years. Emma, who was linked to Justin Timberlake earlier this year, also said a lot of her friends are still mates with their ex-boyfriends and she doesn't see it as anything unusual. "I'm always very secret about my private life," she said, before giggling, "but you never know what might happen in the future." Why don't you both just get on with it?

Emma's schedule is beginning to look hectic as she gears up for the release of the new single, 'I'll Be There' and the album, Free Me. The past couple of weeks have seen her deep in rehearsals in London for her live performances on Parkinson and Popworld at Christmas – check Diary for all the details. Meanwhile, she's just spent the day being interviewed and photographed for a four-page feature in Popworld magazine, out on 28th January. More press details to arrive v. soon.

HAS anyone seen GERI HALLIWELL’s dog lately? Harry the Shih Tzu — once the most-photographed showbiz pooch in Britain — seems to have mysteriously disappeared. I’d hate to think this fur-trimmed jacket being worn by Geri’s old band mate EMMA BUNTON on Saturday night has anything to do with the hound. It certainly shares many of the same features. And there was me thinking the former SPICE GIRLS were getting on so well together.

Emma Bunton continues her "I'm not seeing my ex-boyfriend anymore" routine on a night out in London's West End. The former Baby Spice and ex-Damage singer Jade Jones, finally ended their on/off relationship last year. But they both went to swanky nightclub 57 Jermyn Street on Saturday night.

In a desperate bid not to be seen "together" they left the club separately only to meet up outside a few minutes later. Yawn. Why all this cloak-and-dagger stuff if there's nothing to hide, eh?

It will only be used for a limited number of mp3's and small wmv's for the first 24 to 48 hours when they are first added to my site after which the anti-leech plugin link will replace it.
