24/7: EMMA'S 'LATEST' IS JUST A GOOD FRIEND..OF HER EX -- [Thanks to Angie for posting this]
SINCE splitting with Damage singer Jade Jones poor Emma Bunton has been linked with all and sundry. The latest is this dark-haired chap pictured left who I can reveal is James Duggen. Sadly they're not lovers. In fact he's mates with Jade and was out clubbing with him in Kaberet the other night. A friend said: "He's been a good friend to Emma and Jade but there's nothing going on romantically."

Baby Spice is red hot --  [Thanks to lukepspicenews for posting this ]
ARE you red-dy for this? Baby Spice Emma Bunton turns into a scarlet woman
as she hangs out at a London nightspot.

The 26-year-old stunner left her shirt unbuttoned and sported a matching
trilby as she left China Whites with a male friend. You certainly get
a-round Emma.

EMMA STRUGGLING TO GET OVER JADE -- [ SOURCE: WENN and thanks to Luke Peterson ]
Spice Girls singer Emma Bunton is struggling to cope after her split from Damage star Jade Jones.  The former Spice Girl parted company with Jade last month after a three-year relationship.  But despite working hard to forget about her heartbreak - throwing girlie parties, shopping and going to parties with other men - Emma is still devastated.

According to Britain's Daily Star newspaper, a close pal says, "Emma looks like she's coping from the outside, but she's been confiding in her girlfriends that she's still very upset."  "She's not ready to move on and is taking things one day at a time. Her friends have all been very supportive and when Emma's not with them, she's throwing herself into her work."  "Maybe the break will even kick-start her career, because it's the one thing she has to focus on right now." SPICES TO RE-UNITE FOR 10TH ANNIVERSARY -- [  SOURCE: The Sun, THANKS: Luke Peterson]
THE SPICE GIRLS are set for a comeback to mark their tenth anniversary. Ex-manager SIMON FULLER - who was sacked in 1997 but has since settled his differences with them - feels there is still life in Spice.

He wants to get them together for a one-off gig in 2004. They haven't worked together for a year.
He also plans a greatest hits album of their nine No1s.  Simon says: "To me, the Spice Girls will always feel unfinished. There was no specific reason why it all went wrong and no malice on my part."

EMMA FUN-TON   --  [ From Spice Girls Asia and the Sunday Mirror ]
EMMA Bunton has obviously decided that variety is the spice of life since splitting with Damage star Jade Jones.   The 26-year-old ex-Spice Girl, worth an estimated £16million, leaves London's Attica nighclub with a mystery man on her arm.   Emma has been out having fun since the break-up of her romance last month. She was spotted on a night out with multi-millionaire Simon Fuller, now her manager, who she dated when he was managing the Spice Girls.

We're Not Gonna Sleep Tonight, not be be released in Australia --  [From Spice News Australia ]
--  The Following is from Spice News Australia  --
I emailed EMI Australia about 2 weeks ago asking about the Aus releases of A Mind Of It's Own and We're Not Gonna Sleep Tonight. This is what the girls label manager Mark Poston told me:

i'm afraid i have no good news for you and unconfirmed reports of both emma and victoria possibly being dropped. we hope this is not true.

i have posted new Mel C news however and a new album is coming - check it out on www.virginmusic.com.au

I am hoping it will all come a full circle and people realise how talented they all are rather than slagging them off !

So it looks as though both of those singles won't be released here, which makes 3 in a row :(

FROM WEBMASTER: If this doesn't make Aussie fans mad, then I don't know what will. I am setting up a league of Australian and international fans, to start emailing Aussie radio and tv stations, aussie magazines and mewspapers etc to let them know that us Spice fans won't take them being slagged of anymore, so if ya wanna participate send an email to mflood@froggy.com.au I will give you any email addresses you need so just email me first to join.

BABY LEARNS HOW TO SING  --  [  Thanks to lukepspicenews, and  the 3am column in The Mirror: ]

AFTER A DOZEN CHART-TOPPERS EX-SPICE GIRL EMMA SIGNS UP WITH VOICE COACH

IT'S a familiar story endured by generations of "stage mothers" desperate to propel their kids to fame, fortune and showbiz glory.  Step one in this arduous - and usually fruitless - odyssey involves the
allegedly talented youngsters being dragged along to singing lessons.  Tap-dancing and piano playing may also be part of the necessary variety-show-style educational process.

Then, if the kids really work hard and get the odd lucky break, they might just be fortunate enough to make the grade.  Consider then the extraordinary saga of Ms Emma Bunton, who appears to be doing things the wrong way round.  She's got the fame, she's a multi-millionaire and she's already achieved showbusiness success on a massive global scale.

Her road to world domination with the Spice Girls saw her notching up 11 number ones with the band.
And when the group ground to a halt, Emma - reported to be worth  £16million - released her first solo single, What Took You So Long?, in April, 2001 which went on to become yet another chart-topper.
And now she's off for singing lessons!

Anyone who has ever seen the former Baby Spice's excruciating live rendition of the old Supremes standard Where Did Our Love Go? will have little difficulty working out why she has finally decided to train her voice.  The ex-Spice's new manager, Pop Idol "Svengali" Simon Fuller, has booked in his blonde protege for her first vocal training session this afternoon.

Fuller - the man who, while creating the Spice Girl legend, formed an intimate relationship with Emma - feels it's important that his new client should be able to hit the right notes.  3am's perfectly-placed source told us: "It's no secret that with the  exception of Sporty Spice Mel C, none of the Spice Girls were very good
singers.  "But as Emma was a slightly better singer than Geri Halliwell, there was always hope for her.

"And it's now felt that with the right coaching she has a chance of becoming quite proficient.  "It may sound like a revolutionary idea, but Simon Fuller basically feels  that singers should be able to sing."
Whatever next!

And who should be entrusted with this daunting uphill struggle but -  surprise, surprise - the Pop Idol singing experts Carrie and David Grant.  It was this redoubtable duo who were on hand throughout the Pop Idol
series - coincidentally produced by Fuller's omnipotent company 19 Management - to help the wannabes achieve their maximum potential.

And now they've got another wannabe on their hands. As in: "I'm Emma Bunton - and I wannabe able to sing!" Our insider said: "Carrie and David are the best in the business and they should do wonders for Emma. We really think that she can get back to the top. But you can't do that without hard work."

Gosh, we really hope it all works out for Emma - who so tragically split from her boyfriend, Damage star Jade Jones, last week. Because let's face it, what the pop world desperately needs now is yet another anodyne record by a female who can't sing.

Emma is under guru Simon's spell again  --  [ Thanks to lukepspicenews for posting this ]

EMMA BUNTON has been out on a string of romantic dinner dates with former lover Simon Fuller, I can exclusively reveal.  The pair, who were an item when Simon was the Spice Girls' manager, were
spotted at London's Home House private bar this week.

I'm told the pair arrived in separate cars before slipping inside for the intimate meal.  One diner told me: "They were engrossed in conversation and oblivious to everyone around them.  "Emma couldn't stop smiling. She seemed very happy in Simon's company. I suppose once you've dated it's very easy to get back together."

They also shared a cosy dinner at the Phoenix restaurant in Putney.  It was only this week that Emma split up with her boyfriend of three years, Jade Jones. It is said they had a string of rows over pop Svengali Fuller, who is now managing Emma's solo career.  A source close to the couple told me: "Emma and Simon have remained very close from the Spice Girl days.

" When Simon started managing her again this month the sparks began to fly. They get on like a house on fire and definitely enjoy each other's company." Fuller masterminded the career of S Club 7 and is one of the brains behind TV sensation Pop Idol. Now he is behind Emma's career, I predict fireworks from her.

- MEANWHILE, Emma's Spice Girl pal Mel C has recorded a World Cup record with Keith Allen, with the working title Pop It In The Onion Bag.  I've also had a sneak listen to a track called Here It Comes Again from her new album which is tops.

Welcome back, Mel!
